Weight Converter

Convert kilograms, pounds, ounces and more

Temperature Converter

Convert Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin

Time Converter

Convert seconds, minutes, hours, days

All six converters share one interface: type a value, choose the unit it is in, and every other unit appears at once. What deserves attention is not the interaction but the units themselves — how many days a month has, or how many bytes make a kilobyte, depends entirely on who is asking.

Which tool should I use?

Length Converter
Metric and imperial length from millimetres to kilometres, plus the nautical mile (1852 m) used in shipping and aviation.
Weight Converter
Metric and imperial units alongside the Taiwanese jin (0.6 kg), which turns up in markets, recipes and shipping forms. What is converted is mass, not weight: the ratio between pounds and kilograms is fixed and does not depend on where you are standing.
Temperature Converter
Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin — the only non-linear converter of the six. The scales are offset from one another rather than merely scaled, so proportional reasoning fails. Values below absolute zero are accepted without complaint, so −300 °C yields a negative Kelvin reading.
Area Converter
Square metres, hectares and acres, together with the Taiwanese ping and jia that property listings are quoted in. The constants used are 1 ping = 3.305785 m² and 1 jia = 9699.17 m²; treat a title deed as authoritative.
Data Size Converter
Bits, bytes and everything from KB to PB. The control that matters sits beside the input: binary mode, the default, steps by 1024, while decimal mode steps by 1000. Drive manufacturers and mobile data plans count in 1000s, operating systems and memory specs in 1024s — which is exactly why a 1 TB disk shows up as 931 GB in the file manager. Unit names stay KB / MB / GB in both modes and never switch to KiB / MiB.
Time Converter
Milliseconds and seconds up through years, useful for estimating runtimes or subscription lengths. A month is treated as exactly 30 days and a year as exactly 365, an estimating convention rather than a calendar. For "what date is three months out", or anything involving leap years and timezones, use the epoch converter in the developer section.

Shared limitations

  • Every conversion is double-precision floating point, shown to ten significant digits and switched to scientific notation only at the extremes. The value field is a number input, and the browser quietly discards characters it cannot use — which is worth watching. Pasting "1,234" leaves 1234, which is what you meant; pasting the continental European "1.234,56" leaves 1.23456, which is not. Nothing is reported either way, so check the field after pasting.
  • A conversion here is a couple of multiplications, done entirely in your browser with no lookup and no connection. That also explains the absence of currency: rates move and would need a live data source. The page itself still loads third-party resources such as ads.

FAQ

Why do the last few digits look odd?

Each unit is converted into a base unit first — metre, kilogram, second, bit — then out to the target, which means two floating-point operations. A value like 0.1 has no exact binary representation to begin with, so the tail can wobble by a digit or two. The display already rounds to ten significant digits.

Can I choose which unit to convert into?

There is no destination selector, and none is needed. Once the source unit is set, every other unit is listed below with its own copy button.
