About this toolbox
This is a free online toolbox with 32 tools, grouped into text, developer utilities, images, unit conversion, numbers and PDF. There is nothing to install and no account to create — open the page and use it. The interface is available in Traditional Chinese and English.
Every tool runs inside your browser. There is no step where data is sent to a server, processed, and sent back. That is a technical decision rather than a slogan: browsers already ship everything these jobs require. JSON.parse and crypto.subtle handle parsing and hashing, the canvas element redraws images, and Web Workers keep expensive matching and PDF parsing on a background thread so the page stays responsive. When the computation can happen locally anyway, uploading a contract or a set of credentials to somebody else's machine and downloading the result adds only latency and exposure.
In practice that means three things. Nothing waits on an upload, so speed depends on your device rather than your connection. Once the page has loaded, most tools keep working with the network switched off — which you can verify yourself in about ten seconds. And you do not have to take anyone's word for "we do not keep your files", because the files were never anywhere else. The trade-off is scale: multi-hundred-megabyte PDFs and batch runs over thousands of images still belong in desktop software. What lives here is the small stuff you hit several times a day and would never install a program for.
Tool categories
- Text Tools
- For text pasted in from somewhere else: counting it, normalising case and character width, stripping duplicate lines and broken wrapping, converting between Chinese scripts.
- Developer Tools
- The quick lookups that interrupt a working session: JSON formatting, Base64 and URL encoding, hashes, a regex scratchpad, colour model conversion, QR codes and timestamps.
- Image Tools
- Shrink, resize and re-encode pictures without installing an image editor, or turn one into a data URI you can paste into CSS.
- Unit Converter
- Length, weight, temperature, area, data size and time — enter one value and every other unit is listed at once.
- Number Tools
- Convert between binary, octal, decimal and hex, generate random integers, UUIDs and strings, and format numbers with separators or a fixed number of decimal places.
- PDF Tools
- Merge, split and rotate PDFs, rasterise pages to images, or assemble photographs into a single document.
FAQ
Are these tools really free? Do I need an account?
They are free, and there is no sign-up or login. The site is supported by the ads on the page. The tools themselves have no usage quota, no paid tier, and add no watermark to anything they produce.
What does "runs in your browser" actually mean? Are my files safe?
It means the conversion, encoding, image redrawing and PDF rebuilding all happen in the browser on your own computer. The text you type and the files you choose are never sent to our servers, so there is nothing for us to collect or store. To be precise about the rest of the page: it does load Google AdSense and its cookies, which is a third-party resource at the page level and entirely separate from what the tools process. The privacy policy covers this in detail.
Does it work offline?
The first page load needs a connection. After that, most tools carry on with the network disconnected, which is also the easiest way to confirm the claim: turn off the network, run the tool again, and an identical result tells you the work really is happening locally. One exception is worth naming: the Chinese script converter fetches its dictionary the first time you use it, so it produces nothing while offline.
Are there size or quantity limits?
Yes. Image tools take one file at a time with a 10 MB ceiling. PDF tools allow 50 MB per file, 100 MB combined for a merge, and 500 pages. The text and number tools have no stated limit; the practical one is the memory available to the tab, and a few hundred kilobytes is unremarkable. Beyond that scale, desktop software will serve you better.
