Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the website tools.blablabla.tw. The site is operated and maintained by tokhliu, an independent developer based in Taiwan. For the purposes of data protection law, that individual is the data controller.

Every tool on this site runs inside your browser. The text you type and the images or PDF files you select are not transmitted to this site’s servers, and are neither collected nor stored here.

This is not merely a promise but a consequence of how the site is built: there is no upload step, and the results stay on your device — closing the tab discards them.

A few tools use your browser’s local storage to remember preferences such as interface language, favourite tools and recently used tools. That data stays in your own browser, is sent to no one, and is removed when you clear your browser data.

As with any website, when your browser requests a page the web server automatically records that request. The recorded fields are:

These records are used solely to keep the site running: diagnosing errors, identifying abnormal traffic and attacks, and confirming that a deployment went out correctly. They are not used to build user profiles, and are neither shared with nor sold to third parties.

Access logs and error logs are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically by the system. No copies are kept elsewhere.

This site has no user accounts, so these records are not linked to any identity data.

This site does not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, nor any other third-party analytics, behavioural tracking, heatmap or error-reporting service. Apart from the advertising described in the next section, no tracking code is placed in your browser by this site.

That claim is enforced automatically: if code for any analytics or tracking service appears in the source while this page still says none is used, a check in the build process fails. In other words, tracking cannot quietly be added without this page being changed first.

Webmaster tools are worth distinguishing. Services such as Google Search Console read data from the search engine’s own side — which searches your site appeared in, how often it was clicked — and run no code in your browser, nor collect anything about your behaviour on this site. None is enabled at present, but enabling one later would not change how your data is handled here.

If the position on analytics changes, this page will be updated before the feature goes live, with the data collected, how long it is kept, and how to opt out.

The running costs of this site are covered by advertising served through Google AdSense. To make that possible, every page loads advertising code provided by Google.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.

These cookies are set and read by Google and its advertising partners, are outside this site’s control, and their contents cannot be read by this site. Ad requests go directly from your browser to Google; they do not pass through this site, and none of that data is received here.

You can turn off personalised advertising yourself, and nothing on this site will stop working if you do — you will still see ads, they simply will not be selected based on your browsing history. The options are:

One practical limitation should be stated up front: this site has no user accounts, and the only data held is the server access log described above, in which the IP address is the only field that could relate to you. If you want those entries located or deleted, please include the IP address you were using and roughly when — without that, there is no way to tell which entries are yours. In any case those records are deleted automatically within 14 days.

Advertising cookies are a different matter: that data is held by Google, not by this site, so access and deletion requests for it must be made to Google directly and cannot be handled here.

Some pages link to external websites, such as the Google help pages listed above. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this site is not responsible for their content or practices.

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. As there are no user accounts, no visitor is ever asked to provide age or identity information.

This policy may change as the site’s features or its third-party services change. A revised version takes effect when published, and the date shown at the top of this page changes with it.

If analytics, a consent management mechanism, or any other feature affecting how data is handled is added in future, this page will be updated before that feature goes live.
